Qualification

• B.E. Mechanical / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• MBA (Operations) will be an added advantage

Experience

• 8–10 years of experience in the Cutting Tools industry, preferably in Application Engineering.
• Willingness to travel across the assigned sales territory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer machining processes and recommend suitable tooling solutions to improve productivity.
• Develop and implement tooling applications to achieve customer productivity targets.
• Provide technical support, product demonstrations, and application training to customers and internal teams.
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues and coordinate with suppliers for effective solutions.
• Develop new business opportunities and acquire new customers.
• Support the sales team in achieving revenue and business growth targets.
• Convert leads generated through various marketing channels into business opportunities.
• Identify upselling and cross\-selling opportunities with existing customers.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities, and share insights with management.
• Maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring confidentiality of customer data.
• Ensure proper execution of company sales policies and maintain the company's brand image.
• Manage application projects from planning and implementation to successful completion.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of cutting tools, machining processes, and CNC applications.
• Excellent problem\-solving and analytical skills.
• Customer\-focused approach with good presentation and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross\-functional teams.
