The exhibition aims to create strong domestic and global trade opportunities for brands across the home \& lifestyle ecosystem.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result\-oriented Go\-To\-Market (GTM) \& Business Development Manager who can drive exhibitor acquisition, buyer engagement, strategic partnerships, and market expansion for MIHS. The candidate will play a key role in positioning MIHS as a leading trade exhibition platform in India and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute GTM strategies for exhibitor and visitor acquisition
- Identify and onboard brands, manufacturers, exporters, importers, distributors, and retail chains
- Generate business leads through B2B networking, industry outreach, digital campaigns, and market research
- Build partnerships with trade associations, chambers, buying houses, and international delegates
- Manage key accounts and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors and sponsors
- Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis within the houseware and lifestyle industry
- Coordinate with marketing teams for promotional campaigns, social media, PR, and industry communication
- Drive sponsorship sales and strategic collaborations
- Achieve revenue targets through booth sales, partnerships, and business development initiatives
- Represent MIHS at trade fairs, industry events, and client meetings
- Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance analysis for management
Required Skills \& Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or related field
- 0–8 years of experience in exhibitions, events, B2B sales, trade marketing, or business development
- Strong network in houseware, home décor, furniture, gifting, retail, or consumer goods industries preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage corporate clients and strategic partnerships
- Strong understanding of exhibition sales and B2B trade ecosystems
- Self\-motivated, target\-driven, and capable of working independently
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital sales platforms
