Sales Manager (Automobile)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result\-oriented **Assistant Sales Manager – Pre\-Owned Cars** to support the Sales Manager in driving sales performance, managing the sales team, and ensuring excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, hands\-on sales expertise, and in\-depth knowledge of the pre\-owned car market.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales Manager in achieving monthly and annual sales targets
• Supervise, guide, and motivate the sales team to improve performance
• Handle customer walk\-ins, leads, negotiations, and deal closures
• Ensure proper follow\-up on enquiries from digital platforms, referrals, and walk\-ins
• Support pricing strategies, vehicle evaluation coordination, and stock movement
• Monitor daily sales activities, test drives, and conversion ratios
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company policies
• Address customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and MIS to management
• Coordinate with finance, insurance, RTO, and operations teams for smooth deliveries
• Assist in training new sales executives and improving team productivity

Qualification \& Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
• 8\-12 years of experience in automobile sales, preferably in pre\-owned cars
• Prior experience in a supervisory or team\-handling role is an advantage
