• b b Lead end to end development of data engineering solutions using Scala ensuring scalability performance and maintainability

• b b Drive technical design discussions define implementation approaches and review code to enforce engineering standards and best practices

• b b Build and optimize data processing components ensuring efficient transformations validations and error handling
• br
• b b Collaborate with product analytics and platform teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical deliverables

• b b Establish and maintain CI CD friendly development practices including unit testing integration testing and automated quality checks

• b b Troubleshoot production issues perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to improve system reliability

• b b Mentor and guide engineers supporting technical growth and ensuring consistent delivery across the team

• h3 Minimum Qualifications h3 br
• b b Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline
• br
• b b 5 8 years of overall experience with strong hands on expertise in Scala development for data engineering use cases
• br
• b b Proven experience designing and implementing data processing logic with attention to performance and code quality
• br
• b b Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals including OOP FP concepts data structures and clean coding practices
• br
• b b Experience with code reviews testing practices and delivering production grade solutions in a team environment
• br
• h3 Preferred Qualifications h3 br
• b b Experience leading technical delivery including solution design task breakdown estimation and stakeholder communication

• b b Strong experience in building scalable data pipelines and optimizing batch stream processing workloads using Scala based frameworks

• b b Exposure to distributed systems concepts and performance tuning for large scale data processing

• b b Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and drive adoption of engineering best practices across teams

• b b Experience working in agile delivery models with a focus on predictable execution and continuous improvement
