Senior Accountant – Accounts, Compliance & Inventory

• *Job Brief**

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to take ownership of our financial operations, advanced statutory compliance, and inventory accounting. You will be the internal champion for our **Zoho Finance Suite**, optimizing workflows and ensuring that our operational data ties perfectly into our financial statements. This role requires a blend of deep technical accounting knowledge and platform expertise.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• **Financial Oversight:** Supervise finalization of books, maintain the chart of accounts, and prepare monthly Balance Sheets, P\&L statements, and cash flow reports.
• **Advanced Inventory \& Valuation:** Oversee inventory accounting, track Cost of Goods Sold (**COGS**), handle landing cost allocations for freight/imports, and manage stock reconciliations between **Zoho Inventory** and the main ledger.
• **Full\-Cycle Compliance:** Independently handle end\-to\-end GST filings, annual reconciliations (GSTR\-9/9C), structural TDS management, advance tax calculations, and coordination for financial audits.
• **System Optimization:** Maximize the use of Zoho Finance apps. Set up custom approval workflows, configure automation rules, and ensure smooth data flow between inventory, sales, and core books.
• **Team \& Advisory:** Guide junior team members on daily accounting entries, identify data anomalies, and provide working capital insights to management.

• *Requirements \& Qualifications**

• **Education:** M.Com, MBA Finance, CA\-Inter, or semi\-qualified Cost Accountant (CMA).
• **Experience:** 5\+ years of accounting experience, with **a minimum of 2–3 years managing complex operations specifically within Zoho Books/Zoho Finance**.
• **Technical Mastery:** Deep understanding of Zoho Inventory integrations, batch tracking, multi\-warehouse setups, and advanced data analysis in Excel.
• **Domain Knowledge:** Solid grasp of supply chain metrics, manufacturing/trading accounts, and current Indian tax laws.

Pay: ₹30,000\.00 \- ₹45,338\.67 per month
