Job Summary

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and experienced **Senior Accountant** to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day\-to\-day accounting operations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory filings.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor financial discrepancies.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Prepare and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, and variance reports.
• Coordinate with management regarding financial planning and decision\-making.
• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem\-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and team management skills.

Qualifications \& Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) required.
• Master's Degree (M.Com) or professional accounting qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience in handling taxation, audits, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Prior experience in a senior accounting role is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• CA Inter / CMA Inter qualification.
• Experience with ERP\-based accounting systems.
• Knowledge of financial planning and budgeting.
