Senior Backend Engineer

We’re building a mobile\-first social platform and looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to architect and develop its core backend systems. You’ll build scalable APIs, real\-time features, and data models powering social connections, content feeds, notifications, and moderation tools.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain backend services using NestJS and TypeScript.Design PostgreSQL schemas and optimize queries for feeds, ranking, and pagination.Implement Redis caching, rate limiting, and session management.Build real\-time features using WebSockets and Server\-Sent Events (SSE).Develop media upload pipelines and integrate CDN delivery.Implement authentication, authorization, and user relationships such as follows and connections.Collaborate with frontend and DevOps engineers to deliver reliable features.Required Skills5\+ years of backend development experience, with strong expertise in Node.js and NestJS.Strong TypeScript fundamentals.Proficiency in PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization.Hands\-on Redis experience for caching and performance.Experience developing real\-time systems.Experience building scalable APIs for high\-read workloads.Nice to HaveExperience building social platforms, content feeds, or moderation systems.Experience with media processing and delivery pipelines.Experience across the full\-stack development lifecycle in a startup environment, including frontend, backend, APIs, testing, CI/CD, and releases.

Pay: ₹345,000\.00 \- ₹1,050,000\.00 per year
