### **Senior BI Developer – Power BI \& Oracle Analytics**

##### **About the role**

We are looking for a Senior BI Developer with strong hands\-on experience in Microsoft Power BI and working knowledge of Oracle analytics technologies, including OAS, OBIEE, and BI Publisher. You’ll use your expertise in reporting, data modeling, and SQL to develop reliable analytics solutions, modernize existing reports, and turn business requirements into clear, actionable insights.

##### **What you’ll do**

• **Drive report migration:** Analyze existing Oracle BI and BI Publisher reports, understand their business logic, and rebuild them in Power BI while preserving critical functionality and reporting accuracy.
• **Build effective dashboards:** Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX, Power Query, and sound data\-modeling practices to help stakeholders access meaningful insights.
• **Optimize data performance:** Write and optimize SQL queries, data extraction logic, and database interactions to support efficient reporting across large datasets.
• **Understand Oracle reporting:** Investigate existing OAS/OBIEE reports, BI Publisher templates, and underlying Oracle data models to identify dependencies and resolve migration challenges.
• **Ensure reporting quality:** Validate migrated reports against existing outputs, investigate discrepancies, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) before production deployment.
• **Support reliable delivery:** Troubleshoot report, data, and performance issues; prepare technical documentation; and support deployment and ongoing production needs.
• **Collaborate across teams:** Work with business stakeholders, data engineers, and onsite/offshore teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and deliver migration milestones.

##### **What you’ll need**

• *Must\-haves**

• Strong hands\-on experience developing production\-ready Power BI reports and dashboards, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Practical experience with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), OBIEE, and/or BI Publisher, with the ability to understand existing reports and their underlying logic.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with Oracle databases, including data validation and query optimization.
• Experience translating business reporting requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting data discrepancies, and validating reports before release.

• *Nice\-to\-haves**

• Experience migrating enterprise reports from Oracle BI technologies to Power BI.
• Exposure to Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle GoldenGate, or related data integration technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting in the utilities domain.
• Exposure to AI\-assisted analytics, reporting automation, or related AI capabilities.
