Senior Business Analyst

• *1\. Position Overview**

We are looking for an experienced and analytical Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in P\&L analysis, financial performance, sales analytics, and large\-volume data management. The ideal candidate should have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL, along with the ability to analyse complex datasets, identify business trends, evaluate profitability, and provide actionable insights to support strategic business decisions.

The role requires someone who can go beyond routine MIS reporting and demonstrate strong business understanding, analytical thinking, and ownership of business performance analysis.

• *2\. Key Responsibilities**

• Prepare and analyse Profit \& Loss (P\&L) reports to evaluate business performance, revenue, costs, margins, and profitability.
• Conduct sales analysis, profitability analysis, and financial performance assessments to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Handle, process, and analyse large volumes of data to generate meaningful business insights.
• Develop and maintain structured MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Use advanced Excel and SQL to extract, manipulate, validate, and analyse complex datasets.
• Perform data reconciliation across multiple sources and investigate discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
• Monitor key business performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Identify business risks, performance gaps, and process inefficiencies through detailed data analysis.
• Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to understand business requirements and support data\-driven decision\-making.
• Explore opportunities for reporting automation and continuous process improvement.

• *3\. Skills**

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX\-MATCH, etc.).
• Strong SQL knowledge for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Experience in P\&L analysis, profitability analysis, and large\-volume data handling.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem\-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of VBA, Python, or Power Automate will be an added advantage.
