Senior Data Engineer

• *Ciklum** is looking for a **Senior Data Engineer** to join our team full\-time in India.

• *About the role:**

As a Senior Data Engineer, become a part of a cross\-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

• *Responsibilities:**

• Develop and maintain BI solutions using Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) / OBIEE
• Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications
• Design and develop interactive APEX pages, forms, reports, dashboards and workflows
• Develop and maintain OBIEE/OAS RPD models, dashboards and reports
• Develop reports using BI Publisher
• Write complex SQL queries and work with Oracle databases
• Develop and maintain database objects such as tables, views, procedures, functions and packages
• Integrate APEX applications with Oracle databases and other systems/APIs
• Develop REST\-based integrations and APIs where required
• Perform data validation, troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Analyze and resolve application, reporting and database issues
• Support deployment across Development, QA and Production environments
• Work with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Participate in testing, defect resolution and production support
• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer

• *Requirements:**

• Strong hands\-on experience with Oracle APEX development
• Experience developing APEX applications, pages, forms and interactive reports
• Experience with Interactive Reports and Interactive Grids
• Good knowledge of APEX components, processes, validations and dynamic actions
• Experience with APEX security and authentication concepts
• Experience integrating APEX applications with REST APIs is preferred
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle Database
• Hands\-on experience with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and/or OBIEE
• Experience with RPD development
• Good understanding of Physical, Business Model \& Mapping and Presentation layers
• Experience developing dashboards, analyses, prompts and reports
• Experience with BI Publisher
• Understanding of BI architecture and reporting solutions
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills
• Experience with Oracle database development
• Experience developing views, stored procedures, functions and packages
• Good understanding of data modelling and database concepts
• Experience with query and application performance tuning
• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills
• Ability to work independently on APEX and BI development activities
• Good understanding of Oracle technologies and database architecture
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to troubleshoot application, BI and database issues
• Good stakeholder\-management and documentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• 5\+ years of relevant experience
• Hands\-on Oracle APEX development
• OAS / OBIEE experience
• SQL / PL/SQL
• Oracle Database
• Experience with BI dashboards/reporting
• Ability to work from Pune

• OAS / OBIEE upgrade or migration experience
• Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)
