Your impact
Candidate should possess following technical knowledge as a minimum
Knowledge of any of the other system study software like SKM, DIgSILENT, EasyPower, MATLAB, PSCAD is added advantage.
Supporting Lead Engineer to deliver all Systems studies related deliverables.
Assistance to Dept. Head / Discipline Head for System studies of various Projects.
Exhibit the Technical Domain knowledge, share the Knowledge with team Members.
Mentors, trains \& encourages resource(s) to achieve quality in System study Report
Co\-ordination with other team members intradisciplinary \& interdisciplinary.
Upgrading Electrical Discipline Database on System study.
Modelling and ETAP study of electric power from Utility Grid, transmission and distribution to loads. Basic knowledge of ETAP study for captive generation \& transient study analysis.
ETAP Load Flow study for various Electrical operation scenarios.
Perform Short study in ETAP based on IEC 60909\.
Motor Starting study in ETAP \- Static \& Dynamic.
ETAP Arc Flash study per IEEE 1584 up to 15kV; and above 15kV.
Do Harmonic study in ETAP to IEEE 519 standard.
Do ETAP Relay coordination per IEEE 252, Relay setting Report.
Power Reliability study based on IEEE 493\.
Selection of voltage level based on Load \& Motor KW ratings; Switchboard Short circuit levels.
Power Factor improvement. EMC Compliance.
Ensure compliance to Codes and standards, statutory guidelines (NBC/ BIS/ CEAR/ CEIG).
Apply ETAP system study results during GIS, HV \& LV Switchboard document review.
Proactively identify and solve existing system deficiencies like high Short\-circuit, Harmonics .
Here's what you'll need
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with First Class
Knowledge of Electrical codes \& standards (IS / IEC / NBC) is mandatory.
Knowledge of 3D engineering, review of 3D models using Navisworks.
