Job Summary

Swami Devi Dyal Group of Professional Institutions is seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Executive to support the institution's human resource operations. The role involves managing recruitment, onboarding, employee records, attendance, statutory compliance, performance management, employee engagement, and HR administration while ensuring compliance with institutional policies and applicable labor laws.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment \& Selection

  • Coordinate end\-to\-end recruitment for teaching and non\-teaching staff.
  • Prepare job descriptions and post vacancies on relevant job portals.
  • Screen applications and schedule interviews with department heads.
  • Coordinate interview processes and candidate communication.
  • Prepare offer letters and appointment letters.

Onboarding \& Induction

  • Facilitate joining formalities and employee documentation.
  • Conduct induction and orientation programs for new employees.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.

HR Operations

  • Maintain employee attendance and leave records.
  • Support payroll by providing attendance and leave data.
  • Update employee databases and HRMS records.
  • Issue HR letters such as confirmation, experience, promotion, and relieving letters.

Employee Engagement

  • Organize employee engagement activities and celebrations.
  • Address employee queries and support grievance resolution.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Performance Management

  • Coordinate annual performance appraisal processes.
  • Track probation reviews and employee confirmations.
  • Support faculty and staff development initiatives.

Compliance \& Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and institutional policies.
  • Maintain confidential employee records.
  • Assist during accreditation processes (NAAC, NBA, AICTE, UGC, NMC, PCI, etc.) by preparing HR\-related documentation, as applicable to the institution's programs.
  • Prepare HR reports and MIS for management.

Administrative Support

  • Coordinate with various departments on HR matters.
  • Maintain HR policies and employee handbook.
  • Support disciplinary procedures and policy implementation.
  • Perform additional HR and administrative responsibilities assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resource Management is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in HR (experience in educational institutions is an advantage).

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of HR policies and employment practices.
  • Basic understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with HRMS and payroll software is desirable.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Problem\-solving and conflict\-resolution skills.

Preferred Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee lifecycle management, and HR administration.
  • Prior experience in a higher education institution is preferred.

Reporting To

HR Manager / Director – Human Resources / Registrar (as per the institution's organizational structure)

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and institutional norms.

Pay: ₹25,000\.00 \- ₹35,000\.00 per month
