The Senior HR Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the overall Human Resources function at The Dhan Mill. The role involves overseeing recruitment, payroll, statutory compliance, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and ensuring a positive and productive work environment while maintaining compliance with all applicable labour laws.
\* Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
\* Advise management on HR policies, workforce planning, and employee\-related matters.
\* Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
\* Manage the end\-to\-end recruitment process for all levels of hiring.
\* Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
\* Ensure timely onboarding and induction of new employees.
\* Oversee monthly payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement.
\* Verify attendance, overtime, leave records, and payroll inputs.
\* Administer employee benefits, reimbursements, and final settlements.
\* Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
\* Manage PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Shops \& Establishment, and other regulatory compliances.
\* Coordinate statutory audits and maintain compliance records.
\* Liaise with government authorities and external consultants as required.
\* Address employee grievances and resolve workplace conflicts effectively.
\* Conduct disciplinary proceedings and ensure adherence to company policies.
\* Promote a healthy and positive work culture.
\* Design and implement performance appraisal processes.
\* Support managers in setting performance goals and conducting reviews.
\* Identify training and development needs across departments.
\* Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
\* Monitor attendance, leave management, and HRMIS data accuracy.
\* Prepare monthly HR reports and management dashboards.
\* Ensure proper implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
\* Coordinate with manpower agencies and service providers.
\* Monitor contract labour compliance and documentation.
\* Ensure adherence to contractual and statutory obligations by vendors.
Qualifications
\* Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
\* MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification preferred.
Experience
\* 8–12 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including leadership responsibilities.
\* Experience in handling payroll, labour compliances, and multi\-department HR operations is essential.
\* Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliances.
\* Expertise in payroll processing and compensation administration.
\* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
\* Strong problem\-solving and conflict\-resolution abilities.
\* Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, and HRMS systems.
\* High level of integrity and confidentiality.
\* Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
