Senior Manager Accounts

• *Key Responsibilities**

• *1\. Financial Accounting \& Reporting**

• Oversee day\-to\-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely closing of books and accuracy of financial data.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.

• *2\. Compliance \& Taxation**

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Oversee timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, advance tax payments, etc.
• Ensure accounting standards (Ind\-AS) and regulatory norms are fully followed.

• *3\. MIS \& Financial Analysis**

• Prepare and present MIS reports, ageing reports, inventory valuation, costing, and profitability analysis.
• Track revenue, expenses, variances, and provide insights for business decisions.
• Develop dashboards for management to monitor financial health.

• *4\. Budgeting, Forecasting \& Planning**

• Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles.
• Monitor adherence to budgets and highlight deviations.
• Assist management in cash flow planning and capital allocation.

• *5\. Inventory, Costing \& Controls**

• Monitor stock, inventory movement, wastage, and valuation—especially critical for diamonds \& jewellery.
• Implement strong internal controls and SOPs across the finance function.
• Conduct periodic stock audits in stores and corporate office.

• *6\. Vendor, Banking \& Payment Management**

• Manage vendor accounts, payment cycles, and negotiations.
• Handle banking activities—OD limits, LC, BG, loan processing, and relationship management.
• Maintain strong working relationships with banks, auditors, and financial partners.

• *7\. Team Leadership**

• Lead, mentor, and guide the accounts team.
• Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and discipline in all finance operations.
• Train team members on compliance, processes, and financial tools.

• *Required Qualifications \& Skills**

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce; **CA / CMA / MBA Finance** preferred.
• Minimum **7–10 years of experience** in Accounting \& Finance; jewellery or retail industry experience is an added advantage.
• Strong expertise in **GST, TDS, accounting standards, and statutory compliance**.
• Hands\-on experience with **Tally ERP / ERP systems**.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem\-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment with ownership and integrity.
