Senior QA Engineer (Retail)

Why This Role?

Work fully hands\-on on complex functional, automated, integration, regression, and performance testing while providing senior technical guidance to other QA engineers, ensuring committed scope is delivered on time with high and measurable quality.

Key Accountabilities

· Execute complex functional, integration, end\-to\-end, automated, and regression testing hands\-on for assigned scope.

· Build and maintain test automation using frameworks such as Playwright and Tosca, and run automated regression suites.

· Lead defect triage, root cause support, and release readiness reviews with engineering and product teams to ensure issues are closed in time for launch.

· Conduct performance, load, stress testing, and API and integration testing to validate system reliability.

· Execute test strategy and design complex test scenarios, managing test data and enforcing quality gates.

· Drive defect analysis, root cause support, and defect resolution, ensuring reliable release validation.

· Coordinate test data, environment readiness, and UAT support for critical releases to prevent avoidable delays in validation.

· Provide senior technical guidance and mentoring to other QA engineers, upholding QA standards and risk\-based testing.

· Anticipate quality and delivery risks and support Agile delivery through estimation, prioritization, and troubleshooting for on\-time, high\-quality delivery.

· Contribute to continuous improvement of testing, applying AI\-assisted test analysis to strengthen coverage and defect detection

Core Knowledge and experience

· 5\+ years of hands\-on quality engineering experience across complex functional, automated, integration, regression, and performance testing.

· Strong test automation skills with frameworks such as Playwright and Tosca, including automated regression and load and stress testing.

· Expertise in test strategy execution, complex test scenario design, test data management, and quality gates.

· Strong defect analysis, root cause support, release validation, and risk\-based testing skills, with a technical mentoring capability.

· Working knowledge of Agile delivery and continuous improvement, with familiarity in AI\-assisted test analysis.

· Experience driving QA across enterprise ecommerce releases, integrations, and production cutovers in an Agile delivery model.

Pay: ₹1,800,000\.00 \- ₹2,200,000\.00 per year
