Assistant Sales Manager / Senior Sales Executive – MEP Projects
Location
Pune / Maharashtra (Travel as required)
Reporting To
Sales Manager / Business Head
Experience
3–5 years of experience in Project Sales, MEP Sales, Fire Protection, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or Building Services Industry.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
MBA (Marketing) preferred but not mandatory.
Job Purpose
To generate business opportunities and achieve sales targets by promoting MEP solutions and services to consultants, contractors, builders, developers, industrial clients, and project owners.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities in MEP projects.
Generate leads through consultants, contractors, architects, PMC firms, and end clients.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the construction and industrial sectors.
Track upcoming projects and prepare project sales pipelines.
Sales \& Marketing
Promote company's MEP products and services.
Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
Prepare techno\-commercial proposals and quotations.
Negotiate commercial terms and close orders.
Project Coordination
Coordinate with estimation, design, procurement, and project execution teams.
Ensure timely submission of bids, tenders, and proposals.
Monitor project progress and support clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain regular interaction with consultants, EPC contractors, builders, and industrial customers.
Handle customer queries and provide technical support.
Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
Gather information on new projects and industry developments.
Provide market feedback to management.
Reporting
Maintain CRM and sales reports.
Submit weekly sales plans, visit reports, and monthly business forecasts.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Desired Skills
Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Electrical).
Understanding of project sales cycles and tendering processes.
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Good networking skills with consultants, contractors, and developers.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Order booking value.

Number of consultant and customer visits.
Tender participation and conversion ratio.
