Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and technically proficient Senior Site Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction site execution and supervision. The candidate will be responsible for managing day\-to\-day site activities, ensuring construction work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely completion of project activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent site coordination skills, and the ability to supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Site Execution and Supervision

Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site.
Ensure all civil, structural, and finishing works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site supervisors for smooth execution.
Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.

2\. Technical Coordination

Review and interpret construction drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, and structural engineers for technical clarifications.
Identify discrepancies in drawings and report them for necessary corrections.
Ensure proper execution of reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, and finishing works.

3\. Quality Control

Ensure construction work complies with approved quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
Coordinate concrete testing, material inspections, and other required quality tests.
Maintain inspection reports, checklists, and quality documentation.

4\. Material and Resource Management

Monitor the availability and consumption of construction materials.
Coordinate material requirements with the procurement team.
Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Maintain daily records of material consumption and site requirements.

5\. Progress Monitoring and Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
Monitor work progress against project schedules.
Identify delays and implement corrective actions in coordination with the Project Manager.
Maintain site measurements, work records, and execution documentation.

6\. Safety and Compliance

Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and applicable regulations.
Conduct regular site safety inspections.
Ensure workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Report unsafe conditions and implement corrective measures.

7\. Contractor and Team Coordination

Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, and labor teams.
Allocate daily work activities and monitor productivity.
Resolve site\-level technical and execution issues.
Support the Project Manager in achieving project milestones.

Required Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction site execution.
Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and materials.
Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
Experience in RCC works, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, and finishing.
Knowledge of quality control procedures and construction safety standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and construction reporting tools.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem\-solving skills.
