- *Role:** Senior Specialist \- GS\&P Learning \& Development (India)
The Senior Specialist, GS\&P Learning \& Development (L\&D) plays a key supporting role in building, maintaining, and operationalizing GBS global learning \& development agenda. This role supports the Manager Of GS\&P L\&D in executing learning \& development programs, maintaining competency frameworks, and ensuring high\-quality learner experiences across the GBS organization.
This role also serves as the primary administrator for the GS\&P \& GCI Academy and associated Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate content management, smooth learner navigation, and consistent operational governance. The Senior Specialist supports training logistics, program deployment, content updates, reporting, and day‑to‑day coordination across the GBS teams.
- *Competency Framework \& Content Maintenance**
- Support updates to GS\&P competency models, proficiency levels, and role\-based expectations.
- Maintain documentation and governance files associated with capability frameworks.
- Help evaluate training content against competency needs and support recommendations to refresh, retire, or develop new materials
- *Learning Program Support \& Execution**
- Support the design, coordination, and deployment of global and regional learning programs (digital, virtual, and in‑person).
- Manage logistics for training delivery, including scheduling, communications, invitations, and participant tracking.
- Assist in developing instructional materials, job aids, toolkits, and learner resources in partnership with subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Ensure training content is current, well organized, and aligned with GS\&P \& GCI competency models.
- *Academy \& LMS Administration**
- Serve as the day‑to‑day administrator for the GS\&P \& GCI Academy and its LMS environment.
- Maintain course catalogs, metadata, structure, and overall platform organization.
- Upload, update, retire, and quality‑check learning content and digital assets.
- Monitor user experience, resolve system issues, and support learners with navigation and access.
- Track learning completions, run reports, and build dashboards to support analysis and decision\-making.
- *Data, Reporting \& Insights**
- Generate reports on participation, completion rates, program effectiveness, and platform usage.
- Partner with HR to use LMS analytics to identify trends, potential gaps, and opportunities to enhance learner engagement.
- Maintain dashboards and documentation to support the Manager’s strategic reviews.
- *Business Partner Collaboration**
- Partner with global GS\&P \& GCI teams, and SMEs to support learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners for training coordination or technical needs.
- Provide responsive service and communication to stakeholders across regions and time zones.
- *Operational Coordination**
- Manage shared inboxes, intake processes, content governance logs, and program trackers.
- Support change management efforts, including communications, newsletters, and training launch support.
- Assist in pilot programs, feedback collection, and continuous improvement activities.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders in a global environment.
- Strong communication skills—clear, concise, and audience‑appropriate.
- Detail‑oriented with strong quality assurance habits.
- Comfort with data reporting, metrics tracking, and basic analysis.
- Basic understanding of procurement, sourcing, or business operations is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with training development tools (e.g., Articulate, Canva, PowerPoint) is a plus.
- Experience working with LMS platforms is a plus (Cornerstone, Workday Learning, Articulate LMS, or similar).
- 4 – 6 years of experience in Learning Solutions, Training Operations, or related fields.
- Administration of development or talent programs experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a global or multi‑region environment is a plus.
- *Minimum Formal Education**
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, communications, education, supply chain, procurement, or equivalent experience.
