Job Summary We are looking for an Algorithm Test Engineer with strong hands\-on experience in Python to design, develop, and execute test solutions for algorithm\-based software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem\-solving skills and experience validating complex algorithms, business rules, data processing logic, and software behavior using Python\-based test automation. Key Responsibilities . Design and execute test strategies for algorithm\-driven software components. . Understand algorithm requirements, workflows, inputs, outputs, constraints, and expected behaviors. . Develop Python\-based automated tests for algorithm validation. . Validate algorithm outputs against expected results and reference datasets. . Test boundary conditions, edge cases, negative scenarios, and large/complex datasets. . Perform functional, integration, regression, and data\-driven testing. . Identify discrepancies between expected and actual algorithm behavior. . Analyze failures and collaborate with developersf/algorithm engineers for root\-cause analysis. . Develop reusable Python utilities and test frameworks. . Validate results across UI, API, database, and backend layers, where applicable. Classification: Internal . Perform API testing and data validation for algorithm\-related services. . Create and maintain test scenarios, test cases, test data, defect reports, and test evidence. . Participate in requirement/design reviews and identify testability gaps early. . Support CI/CD\-based automated test execution and regression testing. . Provide clear test status, defect analysis, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders. Mandatory Skills Python is mandatory. Candidates should have: . Strong hands\-on Python programming experience. . Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and logical problem solving. . Experience designing automated test scripts/frameworks using Python. . Experience in algorithm validation and data\-driven testing. . Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals and test design techniques. . Ability to analyze complex inputs and independently determine expected algorithm outputs. . Experience with API and backend testing. . Good debugging and root\-cause analysis skills. . Experience with Git/version\-control workflows. . Strong SQL and database validation knowledge. Preferred / Good\-to\-Have Skills . PyTest or similar Python testing frameworks. . REST API testing. . SQL/database testing. . CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Key Responsibilities
