Senior Video Editor

Urban Acres is seeking an **experienced, highly creative and technically proficient Video Editor** with strong expertise in professional video editing, colour correction, visual storytelling and post\-production.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of producing **high\-quality interviews, documentaries, corporate films, promotional videos, digital content and social media productions**.

The role requires a creative professional capable of independently managing the complete post\-production process, from raw footage to polished, publication\-ready content, while maintaining premium production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• *Video Editing \& Post\-Production**

• Independently edit professional video content, including **industry interviews, documentaries, corporate films, promotional videos, event coverage, reels and digital campaigns**.
• Edit long\-form interviews, panel discussions, podcasts and thought\-leadership video series.
• Develop compelling narratives through effective sequencing, pacing, transitions and visual storytelling.
• Handle multi\-camera footage, audio synchronisation and professional interview editing.
• Create engaging short\-form content, teasers, trailers, highlights and promotional videos for digital platforms.
• Ensure consistency in video quality, branding and overall visual presentation.

• *Colour Correction \& Visual Enhancement**

• Perform professional **colour correction and colour grading** to achieve cinematic and consistent visual quality.
• Maintain accurate skin tones, exposure, white balance and colour consistency across multiple cameras.
• Enhance footage through visual adjustments, stabilisation and appropriate post\-production techniques.
• Apply professional finishing standards to corporate, editorial and promotional productions.

• *Motion Graphics \& Creative Production**

• Create professional titles, lower thirds, transitions, text animations and branded video elements.
• Integrate graphics, logos, infographics, captions and visual effects where required.
• Develop visually engaging promotional content for **conclaves, exhibitions, industry events and marketing campaigns**.
• Collaborate with the Creative and Editorial teams to translate concepts into effective video content.

• *Audio Editing \& Final Delivery**

• Perform audio cleaning, noise reduction, dialogue enhancement and sound balancing.
• Integrate background music, sound effects and voiceovers appropriately.
• Ensure professional audio\-video synchronisation and final output quality.
• Export and optimise videos for **YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, websites and other digital platforms**.

• *Production Coordination \& Workflow Management**

• Coordinate with video journalists, anchors, cinematographers, editorial teams and management.
• Organise and maintain raw footage, project files, media assets and completed video archives.
• Manage multiple editing assignments while ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain consistency with Urban Acres' editorial standards, brand guidelines and production requirements.
• Support shoots and production planning when required.

Required Skills \& Experience

• **3–6 years of professional video editing and post\-production experience.**
• Advanced proficiency in **Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve**.
• **Strong expertise in professional colour correction and colour grading is essential.**
• Working knowledge of **Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and motion graphics**.
• Experience editing multi\-camera interviews, documentaries, corporate videos and digital productions.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, composition and visual aesthetics.
• Good knowledge of audio editing, sound mixing and post\-production workflows.
• Experience working with **4K footage, professional camera formats and high\-resolution video files**.
• Ability to independently manage complete video projects from raw footage to final delivery.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Experience in **media, journalism, real estate, architecture, corporate communications or digital content production** will be an advantage.

Work Arrangement

The role requires regular collaboration with the Editorial, Video Production, Creative and Digital Media teams. The candidate must be comfortable working on time\-sensitive assignments and supporting production activities as required.

Role Objective

To deliver **professionally edited, visually compelling and technically superior video content** that strengthens Urban Acres' editorial productions, industry interviews, documentaries, digital platforms and branded communication initiatives.
