Senior Video Editor

• *Job Summary**

We are looking for a creative and detail\-oriented Video Editor to transform raw footage into engaging, high\-quality video content for marketing, social media, and educational purposes. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, storytelling abilities, and the ability to handle a high volume of editing work, with an expected output of 4–5 videos per day, depending on video length and complexity, while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

• *Key Responsibilities**

● Edit raw footage into professional, engaging, and visually appealing videos.

● Edit and deliver 4–5 videos daily, maintaining quality, creativity, and consistency.

● Perform video cutting, sequencing, transitions, colour correction, and audio enhancement.

● Add text, captions, subtitles, background music, and sound effects as required.

● Create content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube videos, LinkedIn, websites, and digital advertisements.

● Incorporate basic motion graphics and visual effects where necessary.

● Ensure consistency in video quality, branding, pacing, and storytelling.

● Collaborate with the Marketing, Content, and Creative teams to understand project requirements.

● Review and revise videos based on feedback while meeting daily deadlines and content schedules.

● Organize and maintain raw footage, project files, graphics, audio, and final exports.

● Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms, formats, and aspect ratios.

• *Required Skills\& Qualifications**

● 2–3 years of relevant experience in professional video editing.

● Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing skills.

● Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.

● Good understanding of editing techniques, colour correction, audio mixing, transitions, and visual storytelling.

● Ability to create engaging short\-form and long\-form video content.

● Knowledge of subtitles, typography, sound design, and basic motion graphics.

● Strong attention to detail and creative thinking.

● Ability to manage multiple projects, handle high\-volume editing, and meet tight deadlines.

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

• *Preferred Qualifications**

● Experience creating social media and digital marketing content.

● Experience in EdTech, corporate, promotional, or educational video editing.

● Familiarity with Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media trends.

● Ability to understand creative briefs and convert them into engaging video content.
