Position Service Manager – Diesel Generator Sets (DG Sets) Reporting To Regional Service Head / Business Head Job Purpose To lead complete service operations for Diesel Generator Sets by ensuring excellent customer support, timely breakdown resolution, preventive maintenance execution, AMC growth, spare parts business, team productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities 1\. Service Operations \- Manage day\-to\-day service operations. \- Ensure timely complaint closure and engineer productivity. \- Achieve response time (RT) and turnaround time (TAT). 2\. Customer Relationship Management \- Build strong customer relationships and resolve escalations. 3\. AMC Business Development \- Achieve AMC targets, renew existing AMCs, and , generate new opportunities. 4\. Spare Parts Business \- Drive genuine spare parts sales and monitor profitability. 5\. Team Management \- Lead, train and review engineers and technicians. 6\. Revenue Generation \- Increase revenue through AMC, breakdown service, paid maintenance, overhauling, spare parts and value\-added products. 7\. Planning \& Coordination \- Coordinate with Sales, Stores and Accounts. 8\. Quality \& Process Compliance \- Ensure SOP compliance, documentation, FTFR and warranty claim accuracy. 9\. Safety \& Compliance \- Enforce PPE, toolbox talks and EHS compliance. 10\. MIS \& Reporting \- Submit daily/weekly/monthly MIS and monitor KPIs. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Service Revenue, AMC Sales \& Renewal, Response Time, Complaint Closure TAT, CSAT, First Time Fix Rate, Repeat Complaints, Engineer Productivity, Spare Parts Sales, Warranty Claim Closure, Pending Complaint Ageing, EHS Compliance and Team Training. Qualifications Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 7–12 years of experience in DG Sets, Power Generation Equipment or Industrial Service. Required Skills Leadership, Customer Relationship Management, Service Planning, Team Management, Technical Troubleshooting, Communication, Negotiation, MIS, Problem Solving, MS Excel and ERP/CRM. Success Criteria Deliver profitable service operations with high customer satisfaction, strong AMC renewals, increased spare sales, efficient team performance and safe operations
Pay: ₹30,000\.00 \- ₹45,000\.00 per month
