Site Engineer (Civil)

A site engineer manages and supervises daily construction activities. Their main tasks include turning architectural plans into real structures, setting out site levels, enforcing safety and quality rules, coordinating labor and materials, and solving technical issues on\-site.

Technical \& Planning Duties

• **Interpreting drawings:** Read structural plans, blueprints, and CAD models to guide the crew.
• **Setting out:** Use surveying tools like total stations and GPS to mark lines and levels for construction.
• **Scheduling:** Help plan work phases, track daily progress, and report delays.
• **Calculations:** Prepare material estimates, bar bending schedules, and quantity takeoffs
• **On\-site oversight:** Direct construction workers, subcontractors, and trade crews.
• **Quality checks:** Inspect workmanship and test materials (like concrete, steel, and sand) to meet standards.
• **Problem\-solving:** Fix technical errors, alignment issues, or construction defects quickly.
• **Health and safety:** Enforce site safety rules, check personal protective equipment (PPE), and spot hazards.
• **Documentation:** Keep daily progress reports, site diaries, and material records.
• **Coordination:** Communicate with architects, clients, project managers, and local authorities

Pay: ₹25,000\.00 \- ₹50,000\.00 per month
