Job Description

Execute and supervise piling and anchoring works at project sites as per approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards and project timelines.
Ensure effective site coordination and timely execution of piling and anchoring activities.

Supervise and execute piling and anchoring activities at site, ensuring work is carried out as per approved drawings and project specifications.
Coordinate with supervisors, foremen, subcontractors and labour contractors for smooth execution of piling and anchoring works.
Monitor daily progress and report work status, delays and site issues to the Project Manager / Sr. Site Engineer.
Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery and materials at site.
Coordinate with QA/QC, Safety, Planning and Plant \& Machinery teams as required.
Identify technical or execution\-related issues and take timely action in consultation with seniors.

Supervise piling activities including setting out, drilling / boring, pile depth, diameter and verticality checks.
Monitor reinforcement cage preparation and lowering, tremie pipe arrangement and concreting activities.
Plan, execute and monitor anchoring / ground anchor works, including drilling, installation of anchor tendons, grouting and stressing / load testing as per approved method statements and specifications.
Check anchor locations, inclination, depth, installation sequence and site records as per approved drawings.
Coordinate anchor testing and maintain installation, grouting and stressing records.
Maintain pile installation, boring, reinforcement and concreting records.
Study and interpret civil / structural drawings, method statements and technical specifications.
Coordinate for concrete, reinforcement, anchor materials, machinery and other resources required at site.
Prepare daily progress reports and maintain quality inspection and site documentation.
Ensure compliance with approved quality and safety procedures during piling and anchoring activities.

Construction site environment, piling and foundation work areas, drilling / boring locations and anchoring work areas.

Reports to the Project Manager / Sr. Site Engineer and receives technical and execution guidance for piling and anchoring activities.

Coordinates and guides supervisors, foremen, labour contractors and subcontractor staff for assigned piling and anchoring activities.

4 to 6 years of relevant experience in piling and anchoring works with B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.
4 to 8 years of relevant experience in piling and anchoring works with Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Hands\-on site experience in anchoring / ground anchor execution is mandatory. Candidates with only theoretical or basic knowledge of anchoring will not be considered.

Practical experience in both piling and anchoring / ground anchor works.
Experience in anchor drilling, tendon installation, grouting, stressing and anchor testing will be preferred.
Experience in shoring, high\-rise foundation and deep excavation projects will be an added advantage.

B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

25\-35 yrs

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel will be preferred.

Practical knowledge of piling execution and anchoring / ground anchor installation.
Knowledge of anchor drilling, tendon installation, grouting, stressing and testing procedures.
Ability to read and understand civil / structural drawings and method statements.
Knowledge of site execution, quality control and safety procedures.
Good coordination, communication, reporting and problem\-solving skills.
