Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and detail\-oriented Site Supervisor to oversee and manage the day\-to\-day civil maintenance, electrical installations, plumbing systems, and campus gardening operations. The role involves identifying infrastructure maintenance needs, supervising technical staff and external vendors, conducting routine site audits, and ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operational functioning of the entire campus infrastructure in alignment with the institution’s quality standards.

*Key Responsibilities:**

**End\-to\-End Site Supervision:** Manage the daily operations, preventive maintenance, and repairs across civil layouts, electrical grids, plumbing systems, and landscaping/gardening zones.
**Infrastructure Audits:** Partner with administrative heads to inspect campus facilities, map ongoing infrastructure requirements, and execute structural maintenance plans.
**Vendor \& Contractor Management:** Supervise on\-site contractors, electricians, plumbers, and gardening teams; verify materials, monitor project progress, and ensure adherence to agreed timelines.
**Resource \& Inventory Tracking:** Maintain and update daily site logs, repair trackers, maintenance schedules, and materials inventory reports.
**Incident Response \& Repair Coordination:** Coordinate and conduct immediate troubleshooting for electrical faults, plumbing leaks, structural civil damages, and irrigation issues.
**Financial \& Estimate Evaluations:** Manage task\-level material requirements, review service estimates, assist in bill verifications, and coordinate documentation for final accounts clearance.
**Campus Aesthetics \& Gardening:** Supervise the horticultural team to maintain excellent plantation, lawn upkeep, campus green zones, and campus seasonal layouts.
**Safety \& Compliance Oversight:** Ensure all on\-site maintenance practices conform strictly to institutional safety guidelines, protective equipment regulations, and hazard prevention codes.
**Space Transition \& Civil Support:** Assist in structural civil modifications, room partition transformations, facility relocations (e.g., shifting specific operational setups or clinic spaces), and vendor installations.
**Industry Trends Adaptation:** Stay updated with energy\-efficient electrical tools, smart plumbing fixtures, advanced irrigation methods, and eco\-friendly landscaping practices for a modern residential school infrastructure.

*Requirements: Educational Qualification:**

Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field (mandatory).
Certifications in Electrical Systems, Industrial Safety, or Project Management — preferred.

*Experience:**

Minimum 2–5 years of active experience as a Site Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, or Facilities Coordinator, preferably within large residential schools, hospitality setups, or commercial complexes.

*Skills:**

**Multidisciplinary Supervision:** Strong functional knowledge of civil construction, electrical load layouts, plumbing distribution networks, and landscaping/gardening operations.
**Excellent Execution \& Tracking:** Proficiency in managing physical workforce alignments, tracking daily operational parameters, and using basic MS Office (Excel/Word) for logs.
**Communication \& Interpersonal Skills:** Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with school management, internal departments, technical staff, and external labor groups.
**Problem\-Solving Capacity:** Strong capability to multitask, address multiple ground\-level breakdowns simultaneously, and manage emergency facility requirements calmly under pressure.

*Work Environment \& Expectations:**

Collaborate closely with estate management and administrative heads to align facility maintenance timelines with overall institutional and academic calendars.
Conduct frequent physical rounds across campus blocks, residential zones, and playgrounds to proactively build a robust facility pipeline.
Uphold total professionalism, financial transparency, and systematic accountability across all vendor payments, work evaluations, and material standard selections.
Contribute to the aesthetic value, structural safety, and sustainable culture building of the institution by maintaining a pristine environment for students and staff.
