Social Media Manager

Key Responsibilities

• *1\. Social Media Management**

• Manage company social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Develop and implement effective social media strategies to improve brand visibility and audience engagement.
• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly content calendars.
• Schedule and publish posts, reels, videos, stories, and promotional content.
• Monitor comments, messages, audience engagement, and social media performance.

• *2\. Content Creation and Video Editing**

• Create engaging and professional social media content, including graphics, reels, short\-form videos, and promotional advertisements.
• Plan, record, and edit videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
• Develop creative scripts, captions, hashtags, and engaging video concepts.
• Produce approximately **1–2 high\-quality reels or short videos daily**, depending on content requirements and assigned priorities.
• Use professional editing and design tools to maintain consistent branding.
• Stay updated with social media trends and relevant content formats.

• *3\. Paid Advertising and Lead Generation**

• Plan, create, and manage paid advertising campaigns using Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
• Develop targeted advertising strategies to generate qualified client inquiries.
• Monitor advertising budgets, campaign performance, and lead quality.
• Analyze cost per lead, conversions, engagement, and return on advertising spend.
• Optimize advertising campaigns to improve results.
• Coordinate with the sales and client service teams to track leads and follow\-ups.

• *4\. Digital Marketing and Brand Development**

• Develop marketing strategies to strengthen Walshken Group's presence across Canada and India.
• Assist in promoting the company's services, office locations, and business expansion initiatives.
• Conduct competitor research and identify opportunities to improve digital marketing performance.
• Support website content, basic SEO, email marketing, and digital promotional activities.
• Maintain consistent company branding across all social media platforms.

• *5\. Social Media Analytics and Reporting**

• Track social media reach, engagement, follower growth, website traffic, and lead generation.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Analyze content performance and recommend improvements.
• Identify successful marketing campaigns and opportunities for growth.
• Present campaign results and marketing recommendations to management.

• *6\. Team Coordination and Compliance**

• Coordinate with the Canadian management team regarding marketing priorities and content approvals.
• Work with RCICs, legal professionals, and other departments to develop accurate informational content.
• Ensure immigration\-related content is reviewed and approved by an authorized professional before publication.
• Avoid misleading claims, unauthorized immigration advice, or guarantees of visa and immigration outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and obtain appropriate consent before publishing testimonials, photographs, or client\-related content.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• **Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.**
• Proven experience managing business social media accounts.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Hands\-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
• Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, or similar content creation tools.
• Strong video editing, graphic design, and creative storytelling skills.
• Experience generating leads through paid and organic social media campaigns.
• Good understanding of social media analytics, SEO, and digital marketing trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in immigration consultancy, education consultancy, legal services, or other professional service industries.
• Experience managing social media campaigns targeting Canadian and international audiences.
• Knowledge of AI content creation tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and other video generation platforms.
• Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation.
• Ability to independently shoot, edit, and publish professional video content.
• Experience coordinating with international teams.
