Bring your energy to Aggreko as **Sourcing Manager**. In this role, you will be part of the Strategic Sourcing Team in India, supporting the development of a new supply base for critical and strategic components to be supplied to Aggreko’s upcoming manufacturing facility and Global Procurement Hub.

This role will be responsible for the assessment, negotiation, onboarding, and strategic management of key suppliers supporting both the manufacturing facility and the global procurement network. You will be commercially astute, with proven experience in project purchasing, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.
- **Strategic Supplier Development \& Negotiation:** Identify, negotiate with, and establish a new supply base with key, strategic in\-country suppliers to support Indian manufacturing and the Global Procurement Hub, including managing joint development and supply agreements.
- **Global Collaboration \& Demand Fulfillment:** Work collaboratively with diverse global stakeholders and functions to understand business processes and ensure timely fulfillment of demand from global locations for production and service.
- **Category Strategy \& Competitiveness:** Develop and communicate comprehensive category strategies for specific sub\-categories, ensuring ongoing supplier competitiveness through regular benchmarking for the Aggreko Group.
- **Supplier Governance \& Performance Management:** Establish and manage contractual frameworks, oversee the formal onboarding process for all Aggreko suppliers, and implement supplier performance management programs.
- **Supply Risk Management:** Continuously manage in\-scope suppliers, mitigating supply risks by developing alternative sources to ensure leverage over underperforming or uncompetitive suppliers.
- **Compliance \& Ethical Sourcing:** Ensure adherence to customs regulations, GST framework, import/export documentation, and DGFT compliance requirements, while upholding ethical sourcing standards aligned with Aggreko's ESG and supplier code of conduct policies.
- **Extensive Procurement Experience:** Over 8 years of experience in Project Purchasing, procurement, or strategic sourcing, thriving in dynamic and fast\-paced environments with a challenging and collaborative mindset.
- **Indian Supply Base Expertise:** Possesses strong commercial acumen and deep knowledge of the Indian supply base for electrical and mechanical project equipment and components.
- **Global Collaboration \& Cultural Fluency:** Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across Aggreko’s global footprint, exhibiting self\-awareness and appreciation for other cultures and languages.
- **Effective Communication \& KPI\-Driven:** An authentic and inclusive communicator capable of navigating a fast\-moving business and ensuring function performance against defined KPIs.
- **Academic Qualification:** Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred, with an MBA or Post Graduate degree being a plus.
