Sr. Interior Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail\-oriented **Senior Interior Designer (2D)** with **4–5 years of professional experience** in residential and/or commercial interior design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high\-quality 2D design drawings, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and ensuring design concepts are translated accurately into execution\-ready documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed **2D drawings** including floor plans, furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings
• Prepare **working drawings and construction documents** as per project requirements
• Interpret client briefs and convert them into functional and aesthetic design solutions
• Coordinate with 3D designers, site engineers, vendors, and project managers for smooth execution
• Ensure all drawings comply with **design standards, building codes, and project specifications**
• Review and revise drawings based on client feedback and site conditions
• Assist in material selection, finishes, and basic BOQ preparation (if required)
• Support junior designers by reviewing drawings and providing technical guidance
• Attend client meetings and site visits when required

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in **Interior Design / Architecture** or a related field
• **4–5 years of hands\-on experience** in interior design with strong focus on 2D documentation
• Proficiency in **AutoCAD** (mandatory)
• Working knowledge of **MS Office**
• Basic understanding of **3D software** (SketchUp / 3ds Max) is an advantage
• Strong understanding of **space planning, detailing, and construction drawings**
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Experience

• Experience in **residential, commercial, or hospitality projects**
• Knowledge of local building norms and execution practices
• Exposure to turnkey or design\-build projects
