This role is at the core of Lumilens’ global FP\&A delivery from Bangalore, partnering closely with R\&D and business leaders to drive financial planning, business partnership, and decision support. As a member of the India Leadership team, this leader will also collectively act as country controller for the India entity, helping build financial discipline, scalable planning processes, and strong operating visibility in a fast\-paced, high\-growth environment.
- Own the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly variance analysis for the assigned SBU or function.
- Partner with business leaders to drive financial discipline, evaluate investments, and track operational KPIs.
- Build driver\-based financial models across revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Lead pricing analysis, customer and product profitability reviews, and unit economics assessments.
- Drive India R\&D expense planning, tracking, and project\-level variance management.
- Act as country controller for the India entity, including support for statutory close, audit, tax filings, and transfer pricing.
- Support board reporting, investor relations materials, and earnings preparation in support of a US listing.
- Drive scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and strategic financial reviews to support key business decisions.
- Coach analysts and mentor junior team members while helping build a strong finance organization in India.
- *Required Qualifications**
- CPA, CFA, or MBA required.
- 10–15 years of FP\&A or strategic finance experience.
- Technology industry FP\&A or strategic finance experience, or an engineering degree combined with an MBA.
- Ability to operate effectively in a startup environment with ambiguity and limited structure, including building processes from scratch without established playbooks.
- Strong financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business partnering capabilities.
- Proven ability to influence senior business leaders through data\-driven insights and sound financial judgment.
- Advanced financial modeling skills and comfort working with large datasets.
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in technology, hardware, semiconductor, or FMCG industries.
- Manufacturing cost accounting exposure.
- A track record of building and developing finance teams and processes from scratch.
- US MNC experience as a controller or senior finance leader within a US\-headquartered multinational.
- A highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to shape financial and operational decisions in a fast\-scaling deep\-tech manufacturing environment.
