Sr. Procurement Engineer( cosmatic background)

1\. Sourcing \& Vendor Management

• **Material Sourcing:** Identify and procure high\-quality raw materials, specialty actives, fragrances, and bulk chemicals.
• **Supplier Vetting:** Evaluate vendors for production capacity, quality control systems, and ability to meet strict delivery timelines.
• **Commercial Negotiation:** Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and payment terms to drive cost efficiency.

2\. Technical \& Regulatory Compliance

• **Regulatory Assurance:** Ensure all ingredients and packaging comply with cosmetic safety regulations (e.g., FDA, EU Cosmetic Regulations, or CDSCO in India).
• **Quality Control:** Oversee supplier audits and quality inspections to prevent batch inconsistencies, contamination, or material defects.
• **Documentation:** Manage essential procurement documents like Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

3\. Packaging Procurement (Primary, Secondary, \& Tertiary)

• **Packaging Sourcing:** Procure specialized bottles, jars, tubes, pumps, and cartons.
• **Technical Integration:** Work with packaging engineers to ensure components are compatible with cosmetic formulas and production line machinery.
• **Artwork Alignment:** Coordinate with designers and packaging teams for accurate labeling and artwork approvals.

4\. New Product Development (NPD) \& Production

• **NPD Support:** Procure materials on time to meet critical Path\-to\-Market deadlines for seasonal and new product launches.
• **Third\-Party Manufacturing (TPM):** Coordinate with outsourced manufacturers to ensure timely production and dispatches.
• **Inventory Control:** Monitor safety stock levels to prevent stock\-outs during peak demand periods.

5\. Cost \& Risk Management

• **Spend Analysis:** Track procurement costs and implement cost\-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.
• **Risk Mitigation:** Develop alternative sourcing strategies to prevent supply chain disruptions (e.g., ingredient shortages, global shipping delays).
