Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated **Systems Support Administrator** to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, infrastructure management, end\-user support, and system administration. This role involves providing technical support across multiple business environments, managing Microsoft 365 and hybrid Active Directory environments, collaborating with third\-party vendors, and recommending long\-term infrastructure improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote and onsite technical support to end users across multiple companies, networks, and domains.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, application, networking, PC, and peripheral\-related issues.
- Configure, deploy, image, and maintain desktops, laptops, and other IT equipment.
- Administer and support Microsoft Active Directory Hybrid environments, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Intune.
- Manage user accounts, email accounts, distribution groups, organizational units (OUs), and security policies.
- Support and troubleshoot Windows Server environments and Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
- Monitor, maintain, and improve IT infrastructure performance and security.
- Coordinate with colocation facilities, vendors, and service providers to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
- Purchase, track, and maintain IT hardware and software inventory.
- Administer voice and data communication systems.
- Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, and support procedures.
- Collaborate with application developers, network administrators, database administrators, and cross\-functional teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend technology upgrades to management.
- Participate in after\-hours on\-call support rotations and occasional travel as required.
Required Skills \& Experience
- 8\+ years of experience in Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or System Administration roles.
- 5\+ years of experience managing Active Directory Hybrid environments.
- 5\+ years of Microsoft 365 administration experience.
- 5\+ years of hands\-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Intune.
- 1–3 years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID Conditional Access policies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, operating systems, and network connectivity issues.
- Experience supporting remote users and distributed environments.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Microsoft Entra ID Administrator Associate Certification.
- Hands\-on experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with Cognos BI tools.
- Knowledge of Fortinet FortiGate network appliances.
- Certifications such as A\+, Network\+, Security\+, MCSE, MCITP, or MCTS are highly desirable.
