- *Job Title: Stockroom Manager**
We are looking for a detail\-oriented and organized Stockroom Manager to oversee inventory management and stock operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring stock movement, and submitting daily inventory reports to management.
Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure proper stock availability.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical stock verification.
- Identify discrepancies and report stock shortages or excess inventory.
Stock Entry \& Documentation
- Record all stock\-related transactions accurately.
- Update inventory records for:
- Purchase Entries
- Sales Entries
- Sales Return Entries
- Purchase Return Entries
- Stock Transfers
- Damaged/Defective Stock Entries
- Sample Dispatch Entries
- Stock Adjustments
- Opening and Closing Stock Records
Daily Reporting
- Prepare and submit daily stock movement reports.
- Report inward and outward stock transactions.
- Highlight fast\-moving and slow\-moving inventory.
- Report stock shortages, damages, and discrepancies.
- Maintain daily stock reconciliation records.
Purchase \& Vendor Coordination
- Verify incoming purchase quantities against purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain records of purchase receipts and goods inward entries.
Sales \& Dispatch Monitoring
- Verify stock before dispatch.
- Record daily sales and stock deductions.
- Process and document customer sales returns.
Data Analysis \& Inventory Control
- Analyze inventory trends and stock consumption.
- Recommend reorder levels and stock replenishment requirements.
- Assist management in inventory planning and forecasting.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory software.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Reporting Structure
The Stockroom Manager will report directly to the Management Team and provide daily inventory status reports, stock movement summaries, and stock discrepancy reports.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, stock control, or a similar role preferred.
- Experience in textile, garment, fashion, or retail inventory management will be an added advantage.
Pay: From ₹12,000\.00 per month
