Job Description
- *Store Assistant – Job Description (Hotel Industry)**
- *Position:** Store Assistant
- *Department:** Stores / Purchase
- *Reports To:** Store Manager / Purchase Manager
- Receive goods and verify quantity and quality against purchase orders and invoices.
- Arrange and store materials systematically in designated locations.
- Issue materials to various departments as per approved requisitions.
- Maintain stock records and inventory registers.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Store Manager.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock checks.
Ensure proper labeling and storage of all items.Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store area.Assist during inventory audits and stock verification.Coordinate with the Purchase Department for stock replenishment.Prepare goods received notes (GRN) and other store\-related documents.- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in stores, inventory, or warehouse operations (hotel experience preferred).
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and store procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory software.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
