Store Manager

Job Purpose

To manage store operations, maintain inventory accuracy, ensure timely material availability, and control the receipt, storage, and issue of materials.

2\. Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper stock control.
• Material Receiving: Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
• Material Issuing: Issue materials to production and other departments against authorized requisitions.
• Stock Monitoring: Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform the Purchase Department about shortages.
• Documentation: Maintain GRN, material issue slips, stock registers, and other store records.
• Physical Verification: Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
• Storage \& Housekeeping: Ensure proper material identification, storage, labeling, and housekeeping.
• Material Handling: Prevent material damage, loss, and wastage during storage and handling.
• Coordination: Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Accounts, and other departments for material requirements.
• FIFO Control: Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) wherever applicable.
• Audit \& Reporting: Prepare stock reports, shortage reports, and inventory statements for management.
• Team Management: Supervise store staff and ensure discipline, safety, and efficient daily operations.

3\. Required Qualifications \& Skills

• Graduate or Diploma in a relevant field.
• Experience in store management, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication industry.
• Knowledge of inventory control, stock registers, GRN, and material documentation.
• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and ERP/software.
• Good coordination, communication, and team management skills.

• Inventory accuracy.
• Timely material availability for production.
• Reduction in material loss and wastage.
• Timely and accurate documentation.
• Minimum stock\-out situations.
• Successful physical stock verification and audits.
• Proper housekeeping and safety compliance.

Pay: ₹15,000\.00 \- ₹40,000\.00 per month
