Team Lead / SAP B1 Functional Head

• *Key Responsibilities**

A. SAP B1 Functional Leadership \& Team Building

• Rebuild and Lead the SAP B1 Team: Mentor and manage the newly formed team (Accounts, Inventory, and BOM executives) to ensure they utilize SAP B1 correctly.
• End\-to\-End Ownership: Serve as the primary escalation point for all SAP B1 issues related to Finance, Inventory, and Production.
• User Management: Define user roles, authorizations, and access controls within SAP B1 to ensure data security and segregation of duties.
• Training \& Documentation: Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and train end\-users on how to process transactions (GRPO, Production Orders, Invoices) within SAP B1\.

B. Functional Configuration \& Process Optimization

• Configuration: Handle configuration changes in SAP B1 (e.g., Chart of
• Accounts, Approval Procedures, Document Settings, UDFs/UDTs) based on changing business needs.
• BOM \& Production: Oversee the setup of Bills of Materials (BOM), Production Orders, and issue of raw materials to production (WIP tracking).
• Inventory Control: Ensure accurate Item Master data, batch/serial tracking, and warehouse management within the system.
• Financial Integration: Ensure that all financial postings (Invoices, Payments, TDS, GST) are correctly reflected in the SAP B1 General Ledger.

C. Data Integrity \& Reporting

• Data Accuracy: Monitor data entry to ensure there are no duplicate items, mismatched BOMs, or incorrect inventory valuations.
• MIS \& Reporting: Create and extract reports using SAP B1 Query Manager, Crystal Reports, or Excel\-based Dashboards for management review.
• Audit Support: Ensure SAP B1 data is audit\-ready (supporting internal and statutory auditors with system\-generated reports).

D. Integration \& Vendor Management

• Add\-on Management: Coordinate with SAP B1 add\-on vendors (e.g., for GST/TDS, manufacturing, or barcode integration) to resolve technical issues.
• Process Improvement: Continuously identify bottlenecks in the current SAP B1 usage and propose system\-based solutions (e.g., automated approval workflows).

• *Job Purpose**

UTS has implemented SAP Business One (SAP B1\) but requires a dedicated leader to rebuild the team and take full ownership of the ERP ecosystem. The primary purpose of this role is to bridge the gap between business processes (Accounts, Inventory, BOM) and the SAP B1 system.

The candidate must be a hands\-on functional expert who can configure, troubleshoot, and train the team without relying on external implementation partners. This role is exclusively for professionals with deep, real\-world SAP B1 experience (not SAP ECC or S/4HANA).

Pay: ₹850,000\.00 \- ₹1,250,000\.00 per year
