Role Description

We are looking for an experienced **Senior Rebar Detailer** to join our team in **Tiruchirappalli**. This is a **full\-time, on\-site position**.

The Senior Rebar Detailer will be responsible for preparing accurate **rebar shop drawings and reinforcement details** based on architectural and structural drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate rebar shop drawings and reinforcement details from architectural and structural plans.
• Interpret and review structural drawings, specifications, and design documents.
• Perform rebar quantity take\-offs and assist with estimation activities when required.
• Coordinate drawings with project managers, engineers, and other disciplines.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies or design conflicts before fabrication and installation.
• Provide clear and accurate detailing information for fabrication and site installation.
• Maintain proper documentation, drawing records, and revision control.
• Support quality control and ensure drawings meet required accuracy and project standards.
• Mentor and guide junior rebar detailers and support their technical development.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed accurately and within the required deadlines.

Qualifications \& Skills

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in **Rebar Detailing and Rebar Shop Drawings**.
• Good understanding of reinforcement steel and structural systems used in building and infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret **architectural drawings and structural plans**.
• Experience with **CADS RC or similar rebar detailing software** will be an added advantage.
• **7 to 10 years of relevant experience** in rebar detailing or structural detailing, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in **Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline** is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work accurately under tight project deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to mentor and coordinate with junior rebar detailers.
• Willingness to work in an **on\-site office environment in Tiruchirappalli**.
