Technical Commercial Head - Textile Chemical Distribution

• *About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Technical Commercial Head to lead our textile chemicals

distribution business, based out of Delhi and covering key accounts in the Nagpur region.

This is a senior, client\-facing role combining technical understanding of textile chemicals

with strong commercial and relationship\-management skills. The candidate will work closely

with both customers and suppliers, and will report directly to the management team.

• *Key Responsibilities**

1\. Manage and grow the textile chemicals distribution business across Delhi and Nagpur

territories

2\. Act as the primary liaison between the company, key customers, and principal suppliers

3\. Build and maintain strong long\-term relationships with textile mills, processors, and

clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction

4\. Coordinate with suppliers/principals on product availability, pricing, technical support,

and new product introductions

5\. Provide technical guidance to customers on product application, troubleshooting, and

process optimization

6\. Drive sales targets, monitor market trends, and identify new business opportunities in

the assigned region

7\. Handle commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, and contract terms with both

customers and suppliers

8\. Monitor competitor activity and market pricing to keep the company competitive

9\. Ensure timely collections, order execution, and after\-sales support

10\.Report directly to management on business performance, market feedback, and

strategic recommendations

11\.Travel periodically to Nagpur and other regional markets as required

• *Candidate Requirements**

1\. Minimum 7 years of experience in the textile chemical industry, preferably in a

distribution, sales, or technical service role

2\. Strong liaison and relationship\-management skills — comfortable managing both

customer and supplier relationships

3\. Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of a territory/business unit

4\. Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Willingness to travel within Delhi and to the Nagpur region as needed

5\. Technical background (Textile/Textile Chemistry/Chemical Engineering) preferred

and will be considered an added advantage

6\. Self\-driven, target\-oriented, and capable of working directly with senior management

• *Preferred Qualifications**

Degree/Diploma in Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering

(preferred, not mandatory)

MBA or additional commercial/business qualification is a plus
