Its products and services are designed to meet the dual objectives of operational efficiency and sustainability, helping clients achieve their goals while minimizing environmental impact. **Job Overview**With deep technical expertise in cryogenic equipment, the Aftermarket Services Technical Support Engineer is responsible for providing specialized technical guidance to Aftermarket Services customers, Customer Centers, and field service engineers in the industrial gases and LNG industry. The position serves as the technical lead during troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of cryogenic equipment.

Provide technical support for regional customers, Customer Centers, and field service engineers both onsite and remotely.
Develop standard tools and procedures leveraging expertise.
Assist the sales group with technical and commercial bids as needed
Review workshop teardown reports and assist in failure determination.
Review Field Trouble Reports (FTR), disposition and follow through with the execution of solutions that meet customer requirements with a high level of quality assurance.
Provide oversight for Field Service/Field Trouble reports after providing site services.
Maximize reliability in aftermarket servicing of equipment to minimize future down time for customers.
Act as technical liaison for warranties, technical issues and make recommendations to deliver solutions and continuous improvement on products.
Provide on\-site training to customers to improve customer’s ability to troubleshoot, effectively operate, and maintain equipment.
Collaborate cross functionally and with other units to ensure and enhance transparency.
Work with workshops and project managers to provide technical oversight on overhauls, repairs and warranties.

*Education:*** Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
7\+ Years minimum related experience
Experience in reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and process blueprints and related technical documentation.
Specific experience with cryogenic equipment and aftermarket services highly preferred.

*Work Environment \& Physical Demands:*** Stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, type, and write.
Reach with hands and arms, bend, stand on a stool or climb, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools, or controls.
Use standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, printers, copiers, etc.
Lift files and open desk drawers and filing cabinets.
Lift 10\-20 pounds.
Work in both office and shop environments at Customer Center.
Travel as needed.

*Experience and Skills:*** Strong Knowledge of cryogenic systems and pumps design (highly preferred).
Strong Knowledge of centrifugal and reciprocating pumps (highly preferred).
Ability to discuss, diagnose, and repair products.
Ability to work at customer sites with little direct supervision.
Ability to clearly discuss and present the technical details of equipment to different levels of audiences.
Analytical and problem\-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to demonstrate and promote Customer Focus.
Provide support to ISO 9000 requirements in areas of expertise.
Organizational skills – plan, prioritize, and organize work to achieve goals with excellent follow through and follow up.
