Technical Trainer – Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA)

Job Summary

Teks Academy is looking for a passionate and skilled **Data Structures \& Algorithms (DSA) Trainer** to train students and aspiring software developers in programming fundamentals, problem\-solving techniques, data structures and algorithm design.

The candidate should have strong programming skills, excellent conceptual knowledge and the ability to deliver practical, industry\-oriented training that prepares students for technical interviews and software development careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and online training on Data Structures \& Algorithms.
• Teach programming fundamentals using C, C\+\+, Java or Python.
• Explain Arrays, Strings, Linked Lists, Stacks, Queues, Trees, Graphs and Hash Tables.
• Train students in Sorting, Searching, Recursion, Backtracking, Greedy Algorithms and Dynamic Programming.
• Teach algorithm analysis, Time Complexity and Space Complexity (Big O Notation).
• Conduct hands\-on coding sessions, assignments and real\-time problem\-solving exercises.
• Prepare students for technical interviews and coding assessments.
• Provide practical exposure to competitive programming platforms.
• Evaluate student performance through coding tests, assignments and mock interviews.
• Develop course materials, coding exercises and project\-based learning activities.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: C\+\+, Java or Python.
• Good understanding of Object\-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Expertise in problem\-solving and algorithm optimization.
• Knowledge of Time and Space Complexity.
• Familiarity with coding platforms such as LeetCode, HackerRank, GeeksforGeeks or CodeChef.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant teaching, training or software development experience.
• Previous experience training engineering students or preparing candidates for IT placements will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with strong industry experience and a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply.
