• *Infrastructure Asset engineer – Database**

Infrastructure asset engineer is responsible for providing governance on the security, compliance, and operational stability of assigned applications and technology assets by tracking the open tickets and finalize action plan with SMEs, engineers and operation support.

The role focuses on JIRA tickets raised in Control work bench and brinqa related to vulnerability management, cyber hygiene remediation, patch governance, risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and maintaining the security posture of production and non\-production environments across database NARs.

The asset engineer acts the primary remediation owner for identified security vulnerabilities, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with organizational cyber security policies, patch management standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Manage security risks associated with technology assets.
• Raise risk acceptances, exceptions, or compensating controls when remediation cannot be achieved within agreed timelines.
• Ensure risks are documented, tracked, approved, and periodically reviewed.
• Participate in governance reviews and risk committees as required.
• Support compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit obligations.

• *Vulnerability Management**

• Own and manage vulnerability remediation activities for assigned applications and infrastructure assets.
• Review, assess, prioritize, and action vulnerability findings raised through security scanning tools and governance processes.
• Ensure vulnerabilities are remediated within defined Cyber Hygiene remediation timelines and SLAs.
• Track remediation progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with technology owners, engineering teams, and support teams to drive timely remediation.
• Participate in vulnerability review forums and governance meetings.

• *Patch Management**

• Ensure patch compliance across application\-related infrastructure, servers, databases, middleware, and supporting technologies.
• Review and approve patching activities and change requests.
• Coordinate patch testing, implementation, validation, and rollback planning.
• Monitor patch deployment schedules and ensure compliance with patching policies.
• Support emergency patching activities for critical security vulnerabilities.

• *Cyber Hygiene \& Security Compliance**

• Drive closure of Cyber Hygiene findings and security remediation tasks.
• Ensure compliance with corporate security standards, CIS benchmarks, and security controls.
• Monitor Cyber Hygiene dashboards, reports, and KPIs.
• Identify recurring issues and drive sustainable remediation solutions.
• Support security assessments, audits, and control testing activities.
