About the Role

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer who can independently lead design work from understanding user needs through developer handoff. You will create intuitive, accessible experiences for students, educators, and administrators while working closely with our leadership, development, and content teams.

The ideal candidate can identify usability problems, recommend solutions, and explain how their design decisions improve the user experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the design process for platform features, from user flows and wireframes to polished interfaces and interactive prototypes.
• Design student dashboards, learning activities, onboarding, progress tracking, and educator tools.
• Simplify complex workflows for users with different abilities and levels of digital literacy.
• Gather feedback and conduct usability testing to validate design decisions.
• Create responsive experiences for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Build and maintain a consistent design system with reusable components.
• Incorporate accessibility into navigation, typography, colors, forms, and interactions.
• Deliver organized Figma files with specifications, interaction details, and loading, empty, and error states.
• Collaborate with developers throughout implementation and review completed features for design quality.
• Communicate design recommendations and balance user needs with business priorities and technical constraints.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional UI/UX or product design experience.
• A strong portfolio featuring shipped digital products and case studies that explain your process, decisions, and contribution.
• Advanced Figma proficiency, including Auto Layout, components, variants, and interactive prototyping.
• Experience designing web applications, SaaS platforms, or complex dashboards.
• Strong understanding of user research, information architecture, interaction design, and responsive design.
• Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility principles and inclusive design.
• Ability to take ownership, manage priorities, and deliver with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with developers remotely.

Preferred Experience

• Education technology, learning management systems, or career development platforms.
• Designing for individuals with disabilities or diverse learning needs.
• Building and maintaining design systems.
• Using research, feedback, or product analytics to improve usability.
• Basic HTML and CSS knowledge to support effective developer collaboration.

Pay: ₹11,000\.00 \- ₹49,000\.00 per month
