JOB SUMMARY
The Partnerships \& Client Solutions, University Relations Officer, will support and execute a comprehensive relationship development and management strategy in CFA Institute India Private Limited (CFAIIPL) . Working as a member of the Global Partnerships \& Client Solutions team, the officer will work within their assigned geographies to drive our objectives in CFAIIPL. The ideal individual will have an interest in working for an education enterprise. Their knowledge of education industry and learning solutions, combined with relationship management and inter\-personal skills, will shape our business plan and to help us achieve our objectives in CFAIIPL.
This is a Mumbai ‑ based position, with primary responsibility for managing University Relations engagement in Mumbai and Ahmedabad and the surrounding region, including regular travel as required .
The position will identify , build, and manage engagement with all types of constituents in their assigned market area, (including universities, colleges, professors, students, candidates, members, and commercial learning partners) to deliver the constituent growth, and influence objectives in India.
The position is based in India and will be eligible for flexible working. It will report to the Senior University Specialist, India.
This role is employed by CFA Institute India Private Limited (CFAIIPL) and operates within the India Market.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- *Relationship Development \& Management**
- Be the key support to implement CFAIIPL strategy plan with a focus on universities and educational institutions in their geographies.
- Achieving key objectives as laid down in university relationship management plan.
- Contribute to develop a steady stream of potential opportunities through a combination of in\-person meetings, phone, email, and social media.
- Develop new partnerships in India and create opportunities to showcase the capabilities of CFAIIPL Stay up to date with market dynamics and local learning platforms to support strategic decision\-making process.
- This role does not involve contract negotiation or signing authority on behalf of CFA Institute
- Schedule info sessions, events, and appointments for subject matter experts in t team.
- Serves as the primary local point of contact for key stakeholders including universities as well as any students, professors, educational institutions , test prep providers or other members of the Indian academic community.
- Conducts research on prospective university and educational institutions outreach participants, including speaking to local CFA Society.
- Demonstrates familiarity with the programs and offerings.
- Attend networking events and conferences to foster professional relationships and stay informed on market trends.
- Collaborate with members of the GPCS team by tracking, sharing and keeping up\-to\-date all relevant activities and insights in the CRM system.
- Support university and educational institutions focus work and act as a point person to coordinate and report all activities in assigned cities and key relationships.
- Serves as the first level response to incoming enquiries , supports coverage of key relationships , and backs up primary account managers, as required .
QUALIFICATIONS
- *E** **ducation** **/ E** **xperience**
- Minimum 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in the education industry, not for profit environment or investment industry as Account Manager, Business to Business (B2B) and/or Business to Customer (B2C) Relationship Manager.
- A desire to learn and grow in the sales field .
- Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate level of education and experience
- Proven experience with relationship development and management required .
- Comfortable networking and actively building personal relationships with senior academicians, professors, and student clubs.
- Experience and/or knowledge of academic institutions and online learning platforms.
- Very high level of organizational and time management skills, with the flexibility to competently juggle competing priorities and changing expectations.
- Excellent communication skills including written , verbal, listening, and presentation.
- Experience working in different countries and/or familiarity with various cultures preferred.
- Highly collaborative style with demonstrated ability in building strong relationships and effectively influencing stakeholders at multiple levels in the region, understanding local needs and opportunities.
- Self\-starter and highly motivated – ability to work independently and with teams.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Client facing relationship management role; working remotely.
- Energy to put in the hours of concentrated work necessary to achieve goals while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to travel comfortably.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Travel will be required between Mumbai and Ahmedabad and across the assigned coverage area.
Overall travel may range from approximately 50%, depending on business needs and event schedules.
