About UGC WALA

UGC WALA is a video content production agency specialising in UGC videos, performance marketing creatives, influencer marketing, and content production for leading brands.

We are looking for a creative and detail\-oriented Video Editor who understands social media content, storytelling, and performance\-driven video editing.

Roles \& Responsibilities

• Edit UGC videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and performance marketing ads.
• Create engaging, high\-retention video content for Meta and YouTube ads.
• Work on raw footage from phone and camera shoots.
• Add subtitles, captions, transitions, sound effects, music, and motion graphics.
• Understand scripts and creative briefs to deliver videos that match the brand's requirements.
• Create multiple hooks, variations, and aspect ratios for A/B testing.
• Collaborate with the creative and production team to execute projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of videos while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Stay updated with the latest editing trends, formats, and social media content styles.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Meta Ads.
• Good sense of storytelling, pacing, transitions, and sound design.
• Ability to edit raw, natural, and engaging UGC\-style content.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and After Effects is a plus.
• Ability to understand creative briefs and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Mandatory Requirement

• *Candidates must have their own laptop or computer system capable of handling professional video editing software and projects.**

Candidates must be comfortable using their own system for day\-to\-day editing work.

Preferred Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in video editing.
• Experience working with brands, advertising agencies, or content production teams.
• A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous work is required.
