Job Summary

SwanHaus Media is looking for a creative and technically skilled **Videographer \& Video Editor** who can plan, shoot and edit engaging social\-media content.

The candidate should be capable of handling content production from understanding the script and preparing the shot list to shooting, editing and delivering the final Reel.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand content concepts, scripts and creative briefs.
• Convert scripts and references into detailed shot lists.
• Plan locations, camera angles, lighting, audio, props and equipment.
• Shoot high\-quality vertical content for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
• Handle food, products, restaurants, properties, interiors, events and founder\-led shoots.
• Direct presenters, models and content creators during shoots.
• Capture Reels, photographs, B\-roll and behind\-the\-scenes footage.
• Operate cameras, lenses, gimbals, tripods, lighting and audio equipment.
• Organise, label and safely back up all footage.
• Select the best footage and convert it into engaging short\-form videos.
• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos and advertisements.
• Add hooks, subtitles, text overlays, transitions, music and sound effects.
• Perform basic colour correction, colour grading and audio enhancement.
• Follow brand guidelines while maintaining visual consistency.
• Create different video versions suitable for multiple platforms.
• Coordinate with content strategists, social\-media executives and graphic designers.
• Complete shoots and edits within the assigned deadlines.
• Maintain cameras and other production equipment.

Required Editing Skills

• Strong working knowledge of **Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve**.
• Knowledge of **After Effects** is an advantage.
• Ability to create fast\-paced, retention\-focused social\-media edits.
• Good understanding of pacing, storytelling and music selection.
• Experience adding subtitles, motion text and engaging visual effects.
• Basic knowledge of colour grading and sound design.
• Ability to resize and adapt videos for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
• Understanding of current Reel trends, hooks and editing styles.
• Ability to manage multiple editing projects simultaneously.

Candidate Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience in videography and video editing.
• Strong videography and editing portfolio is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of camera settings, lighting, composition and audio.
• Experience creating vertical social\-media content.
• Ability to independently manage a shoot from planning to final edit.
• Comfortable directing founders, employees, models and creators.
• Ability to work in a fast\-paced agency environment.
• Good communication, time\-management and file\-management skills.
• Willingness to travel to client locations in and around Hyderabad.
• Flexibility to work according to shoot schedules when required.

Salary Range

• **Junior:** ₹15,000–₹25,000 per month
• **Mid\-level:** ₹25,000–₹40,000 per month
• **Senior:** ₹40,000–₹60,000 per month

Final salary will depend on portfolio quality, technical skills, experience and ability to independently manage both shooting and editing.
