### **Job Purpose**
To ensure maximum availability, reliability, and efficiency of all Dry Mix plant equipment through effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance practices while maintaining safety, quality, and cost objectives.
### **Key Responsibilities**
#### **Plant \& Equipment Maintenance**
- Ensure smooth operation of Dry Mix manufacturing equipment including mixers, conveyors, elevators, silos, packing machines, compressors, boilers, and utility systems.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Minimize equipment downtime and improve plant availability.
- Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
#### **Utility \& Infrastructure Management**
- Maintain electrical systems, DG sets, compressors, air lines, water systems, and plant infrastructure.
- Ensure uninterrupted utility supply for production operations.
#### **Team Management**
- Lead and supervise maintenance engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Allocate manpower effectively and monitor performance.
- Conduct technical and safety training programs.
#### **Spare Parts \& Cost Control**
- Maintain critical spare inventory and ensure availability of essential consumables.
- Monitor maintenance expenses and optimize maintenance costs.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement and service support.
#### **Safety \& Compliance**
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Implement LOTO procedures and safe maintenance practices.
- Participate in safety audits and closure of observations.
#### **Continuous Improvement**
- Drive TPM, Kaizen, and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Improve machine efficiency and reduce maintenance\-related losses.
- Support automation and modernization projects.
### **Desired Qualification**
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 8–15 years of maintenance experience in Dry Mix Mortar, AAC Block, Cement, Building Materials, Chemical, or Manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems.
