Warehouse Operations Manager
Job Summary
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire warehouse operation, including inventory management, receiving, storage, dispatch, logistics coordination, and team management. The role ensures efficient warehouse processes, timely order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations
- Manage day\-to\-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Monitor warehouse productivity and optimize operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement warehouse SOPs and best practices.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor slow\-moving, damaged, and obsolete inventory.
Team Management
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff and supervisors.
- Allocate manpower effectively to meet operational requirements.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.
- Ensure employee discipline, attendance, and adherence to company policies.
Logistics \& Dispatch
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for timely deliveries.
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure proper documentation for dispatches and goods receipt.
- Track shipment performance and resolve delivery\-related issues.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Implement warehouse management systems (WMS) and process automation where applicable.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare operational reports.
Safety \& Compliance
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and warehouse organization.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and audit requirements.

Qualifications \& Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Experience in FMCG, Cosmetics, Retail, E\-commerce, or Distribution industry preferred.
Pay: ₹19,872\.53 \- ₹80,000\.00 per month
