Web Developer (Freelance)

• *About the Role**

Orion Brand Group is seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive, and high\-performing websites for a diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate should have strong front\-end and back\-end development skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to convert Figma designs into fully functional websites.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Develop responsive websites and web applications using modern web technologies.
• Convert Figma designs into pixel\-perfect, mobile\-friendly websites.
• Build and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Develop dynamic web solutions using PHP and modern frameworks.
• Implement responsive layouts using Bootstrap and other front\-end frameworks.
• Design and optimize database structures for performance and scalability.
• Ensure website speed, security, SEO readiness, and cross\-browser compatibility.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing websites and applications.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver projects on time.
• Stay updated with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

• *Required Skills**

• Strong proficiency in **HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap**.
• Experience working with **Figma** and converting designs into responsive websites.
• Advanced knowledge of **WordPress development**, including theme and plugin customization.
• Strong **PHP** development skills.
• Experience with databases such as:
• **MySQL**
• **MariaDB**
• **PostgreSQL** (preferred)
• Familiarity with Git version control and deployment workflows.
• Understanding of website performance optimization and security best practices.

• *Preferred Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven portfolio showcasing web development projects.
• Experience working with marketing, branding, or digital agencies.
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and analytics tools.
