3\. ROLE OVERVIEW

The Video Editor is responsible for transforming wedding footage into polished, engaging, and emotionally compelling films.

The role requires strong editing fundamentals, storytelling ability, attention to detail, and the discipline to deliver projects within defined timelines and quality standards.

4\. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Edit wedding highlights, teasers, traditional wedding videos, reels, and promotional content as assigned.
• Create a clear visual story through shot selection, pacing, transitions, music, and dialogue synchronisation.
• Maintain consistent visual quality, colour balance, audio levels, and export standards across projects.
• Organise project folders, footage, assets, timelines, and backups according to company workflow.
• Complete assigned projects within agreed turnaround times and keep the team informed about progress or delays.
• Review feedback carefully, make required revisions, and ensure final outputs meet the approved brief.
• Coordinate with project coordinators, team leaders, and fellow editors to maintain smooth project execution.
• Participate in review meetings, accept constructive feedback, and support team learning when required.

5\. SOFTWARE \& TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

Working knowledge of relevant editing tools is expected. Depending on project requirements and skill level, the tools may include:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects (Basic to Intermediate)
• Adobe Media Encoder
• Adobe Audition (Basic Audio Editing)
• Adobe Photoshop (Basic Knowledge)
• DaVinci Resolve and/or Final Cut Pro

6\. SKILLS \& COMPETENCIES

• Good understanding of timeline editing, footage selection, and audio synchronisation.
• Ability to build engaging narratives with appropriate music, dialogue, and visual flow.
• Basic colour correction, audio cleanup, and export optimisation skills.
• Understanding of file management, project organisation, and safe handling of media.
• Creativity, attention to detail, time management, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

7\. ELIGIBILITY
