Job Description – Accounts Executive

Job Summary
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for handling day\-to\-day accounting operations, purchase and supplier documentation, bank reconciliations, TDS maintenance, project billing coordination, audit support, and maintaining financial records in Tally and Excel. The role requires accuracy, coordination, and timely follow\-up to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Roles \& Responsibilities:1\. Purchase \& Supplier Management
- Prepare and process Supplier Purchase Orders (Trade \& Government Consumables).
- Maintain PO records and share required communications via email.
- Perform Excel data entry and maintain purchase\-related documentation.
- Record purchase bills (Trade, Project, and Operating Expenses) in Tally and Excel.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of purchase\-related records.
2\. Accounting \& Financial Entries
- Record accounting transactions accurately in Tally.
- Maintain TDS\-related entries and records in Tally.
- Enter site expense transactions in Tally.
- Record bank charges and bank reconciliation entries in accounting software.
3\. Banking \& Financial Instrument Management
- Prepare, cancel, and maintain Demand Drafts (DD), Fixed Deposit Receipts (FDR), and Bank Guarantees (BG) for EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) and SD (Security Deposit).
- Coordinate with banks and follow up regarding DD, FDR, and BG processing.
- Maintain records of EMD and SD instruments.
4\. Reconciliation \& Compliance
- Perform bank account and branch account reconciliations.
- Follow up on pending project bills after GST 2B reconciliation.
- Support internal audit processes related to purchases, sales, and expenses.
- Ensure accuracy of accounting records and compliance with company procedures.
5\. Reporting \& Coordination
- Maintain accurate financial records in Excel and Tally.
- Coordinate with internal teams for pending documentation and financial updates.
- Provide support for additional accounting and operational activities as assigned.
Required Skills \& Competencies
- Knowledge of **Tally ERP** and **MS Excel**
- Understanding of **TDS, GST reconciliation, and accounting principles**
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Good coordination and follow\-up abilities
- Basic banking and financial instrument handling knowledge
- Organizational and record management skills
Preferred Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in **Commerce (B.Com)**, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in accounting or finance operations preferred.
Pay: ₹28,000\.00 \- ₹35,000\.00 per month
