Accountant

• *Job Summary**

We are looking for a detail\-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage daily financial operations, assist with month\-end close, and ensure statutory compliance. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the ideal candidate will possess a solid grasp of accounting principles, local tax regulations, and accounting software

• *Key Responsibilities**

• **Bookkeeping \& Ledgers:** Maintain accurate day\-to\-day financial records, journal entries, and the general ledger. \[1, 2]
• **Accounts Payable/Receivable:** Process vendor bills, issue timely invoices, and monitor accounts receivable/payable to ensure smooth cash flow. \[1, 2]
• **Reconciliation:** Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any financial discrepancies. \[1, 2]
• **Statutory Compliance:** Assist in the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other local tax requirements. \[1]
• **Financial Reporting:** Generate periodic financial statements (P\&L, Balance Sheet) and expense reports to support management decision\-making. \[1, 2, 3]
• **Audit Assistance:** Organize and provide source documents to support internal and external audits. \[1, 2]

• *Qualifications \& Skills**

• **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• **Experience:** 1 to 2 years of proven professional experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks).
• **Spreadsheet Proficiency:** Strong working knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• **Compliance Knowledge:** Basic understanding of Indian tax laws, including GST and TDS. \[1, 2, 3, 4]

Pay: ₹25,000\.00 \- ₹35,000\.00 per month
